SELECTED PAINTINGS PAINTED BEFORE 2020

Eklund returned to his earliest passion - painting - in 2008. In 2015 he decided to focus on art full time. He wanted to give himself the hardest challenge in painting he could think of: faces, and oil paints.

That is why he chose to start painting portraits with oils. That has become his passion and the path that he will continue to follow.

These painting are oil and 23K gold leaf / acrylic / charcoal / on canvas, painted between 2008 and 2019.
