History
Antti Eklund is a renaissance soul. He has always focused on multidisciplinary creativity. He is an architect, a graphic design professor, a design entrepreneur and an artist. He was born in Finland and is also a US citizen.
Versatility
During his internationally award winning design career Antti Eklund has worked with companies like Alessi and Marimekko. As an entrepreneur he has launched brands like VEEN spring water. He has now devoted his career exclusively on art.
Artist
Since 2008 Antti Eklund has harnessed his skills to produce unprecedented art. His hopeful paintings highlight happiness, illuminate injustice and expose abuses of power - encouraging the viewer to take action and enable positive change.
What´s next?
Antti Eklund loves challenges. His goal is to achieve at least as much international recognition as an artist as he did as a designer. He is fearlessly curious. He is a risk taker eager to learn from his mistakes. "If you never fail, you are not trying hard enough."
