TALES OF MAN

"Tales of Man(kind)" was a major solo exhibit for Eklund at Gumbostrand Konst & Form 1.11.22 - 8.1.23.

The exhibit rooted in Eklund´s desire to illuminate injustice, expose the abuse of power, and highlight torchbearers for goodness.

Eklund transforms current events into timeless artworks by filtering his themes through our shared values, cultural history, and selected art masterpieces.

His goal is to inspire people to act for a positive change.

The Grand Opening for “Tales of Man” was at Gumbostrand Konst & Form on November 30th in 2022.

All the paintings tell a story – and are oil on canvas – most with 23K gold leaf and 180x180cm in size.

“The Madness of War, Ever Since Polemos” was painted at the start of the war in Ukraine.

It is 3m high – and now in the collection of the city of Turku.

“My Body, My Party” was painted after Roe v. Wade was overturned.

“What´s Holding You Back” encourages the viewers to fulfill their dreams.

“Tales of Man” was an unforgettable experience for all the visitors – and the artist! Thank you all!
